Upon arrival in Santiago in the morning, you will be taken to your comfortable room in your hotel located in Providencia residential area. In the afternoon, there will be a guided visit to the city center where you will admire some of the most representative monuments in Santiago, such as the presidential palace, the cathedral and the “Plaza de Armas” (city main square). After the visit you will return to your hotel for a short rest before dinner in a characteristic restaurant located not far from your hotel.
After breakfast, you will fly early in the morning from Santiago to Temuco. A private transfer will drive you from Temuco airport to Pucón in approximately an hour and thirty minutes. Upon arrival in Pucón, where you will stay for five nights, lunch will be served in the accommodation premises. You will have a free afternoon to explore the town and its amenities, and to enjoy the fantastic views of its lake and volcano. Dinner will be served in the accommodation premises.
The first trekking of your adventure will be in the Conguillío National Park. After a two-and-a-half-hour drive from Pucón you will arrive at one of the most outstanding natural attractions that Chile has to offer to its visitors. You will hike among imposing coihue (Nothofagus dombeyi) and araucaria (Araucaria araucana) forests, and enjoy breath-taking views of Llaima and Sierra Nevada volcanoes. After ascending to the highest viewpoint along the hike, you will enjoy your lunch in a unique setting. Upon your return to Pucón, dinner will be served in the accommodation premises.
Only a one-and-a-half hour drive from Pucón, and very close to the Argentinian border, the beginning of this trekking within the Villarrica National Park offers fantastic panoramic views of the Lanín volcano. During this experience you will be able to admire araucaria forests, as well as the local fauna in a trail that takes you to three different pristine mountain lakes. By one of these lakes you will enjoy your lunch in a relaxing and beautiful landscape. On the way back, you will have the possibility of tasting local craft beers before heading for Pucón, where dinner will be served in the accommodation premises.
After two exciting days trekking, now is the time for a relaxing hike in order to appreciate the beauty of the imposing Villarrica volcano from a privileged position. Just half-an-hour drive from Pucón, you will have the possibility to take an easy three-hour walk by lava rivers and native forests, as well as to appreciate spectacular views of Lake Villarrica. From this magnificent viewpoint you will enjoy your lunch before returning to your accommodation.
Towards the end the afternoon, a visit to one of the best thermal baths in the Pucón area is planned. Here you will have the time to experience and enjoy the benefits of thermal waters surrounded by a unique natural setting. After this activity, you will reach your accommodation in Pucón where dinner will be served.
The last trekking before leaving the land of araucarias, volcanoes and lakes will take place in one of the most fascinating and mesmerizing places that this region has to offer. Only a forty-five minute drive from Pucón, El Cañi Sanctuary is a relatively challenging hike that will immerse you in a unique surrounding sacred to the native original peoples. Your initial effort will be rewarded by the progressive appearance of suggestive ancestral forests that culminate in a panoramic view where volcanoes and lakes can be appreciated from a fabulous high vantage point. This will be the perfect place to enjoy your lunch before initiating the descent.

On this day, you will be reaching the heart of the Chilean Patagonia. An early morning one-hour flight will take you from Temuco to Balmaceda. After a three-hour drive from Balmaceda, you will arrive in Puerto Río Tranquilo. During this route on the Carretera Austral you will enjoy magnificent views of the Patagonian mountains. An intermediary stop is planned at Cerro Castillo, where lunch will be served in a typical local restaurant.
Upon arrival in Puerto Río Tranquilo in the mid afternoon, you will be taken to your accommodation where you will spend the next four nights. There are no activities planned for the rest of the day, so you can relax and enjoy a stroll by Lake General Carrera, the second biggest lake in the Americas.
Dinner will be prepared by your own personal chef, and served in a restaurant near your accommodation.
After approximately an hour drive from Puerto Río Tranquilo you will reach the start of your next activity. Your first trekking in the Chilean Patagonia will be an exciting opportunity to admire the immensity of Leones Valley. Without major challenges, you will hike along the River Leones until reaching the beautiful lake by the same name. Here you will be able to admire the majestic Leones Glacier, which is directly connected with the Northern Patagonian Ice Field. Leones Glacier, with its lake and mountains, is certainly one of the most breath-taking landscapes in the whole of Patagonia. In this wonderful setting you will enjoy your lunch before initiating our return to Puerto Río Tranquilo.
As on the previous evening, dinner will be prepared by your own personal chef.
You will begin your day with a visit to the Marble Caves and Chapels. These unique formations are located on the shores of Lake General Carrera, only half an hour from Puerto Río Tranquilo by boat. During a two-hour boat trip, you will have the opportunity to admire and explore the caves, characterized by their particular texture and color. You will also be able to contemplate the fascinating shape of the Chapels amid the crystalline waters of the lake. Indeed, the morning light is the most suitable time to appreciate the beauty of this special place.
Upon your return to Puerto Río Tranquilo, a forty-minute drive will take you to Puerto Guadal. In this picturesque little town you will enjoy a typical Patagonian lunch. After lunch, a short hike will take you the “Mirador de los Fósiles” from where you will be able to appreciate the lake and its surroundings before heading back to Puerto Río Tranquilo. You will be free the rest of the afternoon.
As usual, dinner will be prepared by your own personal chef, and served in a restaurant near your accommodation.
You will leave Puerto Río Tranquilo early in the morning for a two-hour drive to Bahía Exploradores. Here you will board the boat that takes you to Laguna San Rafael and its glacier. The navigation through the Patagonian channels until the lagoon will last for approximately two hours. During this part of the navigation breakfast will be served. Upon arrival to Laguna San Rafael, you will have the time to enjoy magnificent views of the glacier, and hopefully see tiger seals resting on ice blocks scattered in the water. After lunch on board, you will enjoy a glass of complementary whisky with glacial ice. The return to Bahía Exploradores is expected by mid-afternoon.
Before heading back to Puerto Río Tranquilo, an intermediary short stop is planned to visit the Exploradores Glacier. At only fifteen-minutes drive from Bahía Exploradores, and along the road to Puerto Río Tranquilo, this visit will be a good opportunity to stretch your legs and walk for approximately one hour by this impressive glacier.

The last destination of your adventure in Patagonia will be Chile Chico. After a three-hour drive bordering Lake General Carrera, which is one of the most stunning and panoramic roads in the world, you will arrive in Chile Chico. With its microclimate, Chile Chico offers a unique mix of mesmerizing landscapes. Here you will spend the next three nights of your stay in Patagonia.
After lunch in a local restaurant, you will have a free afternoon to visit this picturesque town. You will enjoy dinner in a local restaurant.
The starting point of this outstanding trekking is only a forty-minute drive from Chile Chico. The first part of this hike is a trail that passes through a canyon, where often it is possible to spot the guanaco in its natural habitat, as well as the majestic condor. Here, impressive castle-like rock towers and spires will be the backdrop as you reach the highest point along the canyon. This is the perfect location to have a rest and enjoy your lunch. As you begin the second part of the hike, descending towards the valley, you will encounter traces of prehistoric art, and a landscape characterized by amazing colorful rock formations. Such a landscape will certainly give you the sensation that you have just landed on the moon.
After finishing this trekking, and before heading towards your accommodation, you will have the opportunity to appreciate a guided visit to some examples of prehistoric art that can be found just a couple of kilometers outside of Chile Chico.

The access to Patagonia National Park is located at one-and-half hour drive from Chile Chico. This is one of the most spectacular roads in the entire Chilean Patagonia. In this tract of land, you will appreciate not only a magnificent landscape, but also a rich fauna. This road is the perfect introduction to the beautiful Patagonia National Park. Here, you will hike during the whole day amid breathtaking views of pristine bright turquoise lakes and colorful mountains. You will have time to enjoy your lunch, and rest before initiating our return to Chile Chico.

You will take the ferry from Chile Chico to Puerto Ibañez early in the morning. This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy a three-hour navigation on Lake General Carrera. From Puerto Ibañez there is an hour-and-forty-five minute drive to Coyhaique, where you will spend the night. After lunch in a local restaurant, you will have a free afternoon to visit the town. You will have dinner in a local restaurant.
After an hour drive from Coyhaique you will reach Balmaceda airport, where you will take a morning flight to Santiago. Upon arrival to the capital, you will be taken to your hotel for a one-night stay. You will have a free afternoon in Santiago. Lunch and dinner will be served in a restaurant not far from your hotel.
On this day, transfer to the airport will be arranged subject to your travel schedule.
